Consumer prices in the Czech Republic grew by 0.3% m/m in May 2015. The inflation’s development was influenced primarily by higher prices in the segment of transport, foodstuffs and non-alcoholic beverages, alcoholic beverages and tobacco. Consumer prices grew 0.7% y/y, down 0.2 p.p. on April and the highest growth rate since October 2014. The information was provided by the Czech Statistical Office.
