Hot on the tails of better-than-expected Czech industrial output for September of 12.2% on the year and just ahead of Friday’s release of the gross domestic product data for the third quarter, Škoda Auto, the largest central European car maker and a bellwether of the Czech economy, posted a 12% annual rise in its sales through end-October, with 638,000 cars shipped worldwide.
