UniCredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia (UCB) extended mortgages for individuals totalling over CZK 8.5bn in the first nine months of 2015. The y/y growth reached ca. 30%. The spokesperson for the bank, Petr Plocek, has stated in a survey for ČIANEWS that UCB has 151 branches and salespoints around the Czech Republic. The no. of outlets has almost tripled since 2010. The no. of branches is optimal now and the bank is making significant investments into the development of digital channels, Mr. Plocek has added.
