Cargo railroad company ÈD Cargo transported totally 66.4 million tons of goods in 2015. The firm plans to raise the amount of transported goods moderately in 2016 to 68.7 million tons. Solid fuels, iron ores and metallurgy products accounted for the biggest portion of the transports. Approximately half of the transports are domestic and half international (export, import, transit). The spokesperson for the Czech Railways, Radek Joklík, has told ÈIANEWS that the biggest increases were registered in the transport of building materials and automotive products.
