In November 2016 consumer prices increased 0.3 % on October 2016. This development was affected especially by an increase in prices in section food and non-alcoholic beverages, primarily by an increase in group milk, cheese, eggs. The price of cheese increased 4.8 %, that of eggs 17.5 % and milk 4.5 %. Consumer prices increased 1.5 % y/y, which was 0.7 percentage points more than in October and the most since June 2013. The inflation rate expressed as growth of the average consumer price index over the past 12 months on the average of the preceding 12 months was 0.5 % in November.
