CEITEC Cluster-bioinformatics and Brno University Hospital (FN Brno) have developed a method aimed to help doctors estimate the response of patients with chronic lymphocytic leukaemia and B-cell lymphoma to therapies. The method is based on the metering of immunity system cells that are prone to cancerous growth. The method is newly patented in the Czech Republic. The experts are now assessing the options for cooperation with a commercial partner that could develop a testing set for regular utilisation in hospitals. The information was provided by FN Brno.
