The Office for the Protection of Competition (ÚOHS) opened on September 9, 2016, administrative proceedings in the matter of the tender opened by the Ministry of Transport that resulted into the signature of annexes to contracts on the delivery of the electronic road toll system and the provision of related services. The authority will review whether legal conditions for the utilisation of negotiation proceeding without publishing were fulfilled. As ČIANEWS has previously informed, the tender for the operation of the road toll system after 2016 was won by Kapsch. The contract is worth CZK 5.27bn.
