The Foxconn Technology Group is considering an investment project in the Czech Republic. According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MPO), the government has already approved a signature of a memorandum of co-operation with the company. According to the MPO, the investment parameters make it one of the largest potential projects within the framework of investment incentives. The investment consists of several partial projects. The company’s intention is to develop and automated solution for production in its plants in Pardubice and Kutná Hora. Furthermore, Foxconn is planning to build a research and design centre and data centres and to use distribution channels in China to create business platforms for exporting Czech products to markets in Asia.
