Alpiq Generation (CZ) generated totally 1 179 199 MWh of electricity in H1 2016, up 4.3% y/y. The firm expects to maintain the trend in the full year of 2016. Revenues in H1 2016 totalled CZK 2bn. Communication and external relations manager Markéta Čapková has stated that the revenues dropped in comparison to H1 2015 due to the long-term decline of electricity prices. The company does not plan any major investments and does not anticipate major changes to client numbers.
