The new public contract act, which will come into effect on October 1, 2016, will significantly decrease the administrative burden, according to the Czech Ministry for Regional Development (MMR), which added that the commissioner would now need only one protocol about the winning bid and would not have to create protocols on all bids. The legislation will also allow for the exclusion of a supplier that spoilt or did not complete a previous contract. As ČIANEWS informed earlier, the MMR will adapt the Public Contract Bulletin and National Electronic Tool electronic systems due to the changed legislation.
