Carmaker ŠKODA AUTO reported revenues totalling EUR 12.48bn, up 6.2% y/y. Operating result increased by 12% to EUR 915m. Deliveries to clients grew by 1.8% to 1 055 500 cars. ŠKODA AUTO’s board of directors chairman Bernhard Maier has stated that the attention in the upcoming period will focus on new alternative car concepts, digitalisation of individual mobility with new offers for clients and expansion of the SUV portfolio. ŠKODA AUTO plans to present a bigger new SUV in fall 2016.
