The no. of road vehicles manufactured in the Czech Republic grew 3.98% to 1 328 788 in 2015. Of the total, motor vehicle production reached 1 305 330 (up 4.24%) and production of trailers 23,458 (down 8.30%). The biggest contribution to the total results came from the category of passenger cars and light utility vehicles (up 4.15% to 1 298 236 automobiles). But production soared 16.03% to 4 517 vehicles and motorcycle production 60.65% to 1,727. The segment of trucks, trailers and chasses grew 3.53% to 850 vehicles. This stems from the statistics of the Automotive Industry Association (AutoSAP).
