First All Siemens plants in the Czech Republic will gradually be transferred to the Industry 4.0 standard. Siemens AG´s board of directors chairman Joe Kaeser has stated that the first plant to switch to the new standard will be the electrical engine production facility in Mohelnice. The company is leading talks with the Czech Institute for Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics (CIIRC) of the Czech Technical University in Prague about the potential building of a testing laboratory focusing on Industry 4.0 concept technologies.
