Czech firms are interested in cooperation in Azerbaijan in sectors incl. infrastructure, deliveries of transport technology, waste liquidation, housing construction and/or deliveries of aircrafts and armament components. The information was provided by the president of the Czech Confederation of Industry, Jaroslav Hanák, upon the return of the mission of 60 Czech firms accompanying Czech President Miloš Zeman on his visit to Azerbaijan. For instance, PSJ plans to a EUR 400m building project on the Baku island. Moravia Silesia Region will reconstruct railroads for EUR 500m and Aero Vodochody secures the repair of 24 L-39 aircrafts in Azerbaijan.
