Forest management company Lesy ČR’s (LČR) employee base grew by ca. 40 persons in 2015. LČR had 3,376 employees as of the end of the year. The firm invested CZK 129m into human resources last year. The spokesperson for LČR, Eva Jouklová, has told ČIANEWS that the investments were sent primarily into the social program and education, incl. benefits. According to Ms. Jouklová, LČR is struggling in the long run with lack of skilled forestry workers.
