In 2015 turnover form the sale of goods and services in the Czech Republic exceeded CZK 117bn with 6m buyers. In Czech retail the importance of e-commerce grew and its share of overall turnover increased by 1 p.p to 8.1 %. This was stated in reaction to the European B2C E-commerce Report published by association Ecommerce Europe by the executive director of the Association of Electronic Commerce (APEK), Jan Vetyška. He added that turnover increased by more than 20 % and that an increase of at least 15 additional percent is expected in 2016.
