New World Resources (NWR) reported revenues totalling EUR 445m for 9M 2015, down 12% y/y. EBITDA reached EUR -4m. Coal production decreased by 10% to 5.7 million tons. Sales dropped 12% to 5.4 million tons. The average implemented price of cokeable coal reached EUR 93 per ton. The average implemented price of energy coal totalled EUR 52 per ton. NWR’s CFO Boudewijn Wentink has stated that the company is working to meet the full-year sales goal of 8 million tons. NWR has also decided to maintain its management structure after 2016. Gareth Penny will remain NWR’s board of directors chairman and Dale Ekmark will continue to lead OKD.
