Rockcastle Global Real Estate has acquired the Forum Liberec shopping centre from British firm Tesco for ca. EUR 80m. The shopping centre offers ca. 47,000 m2 of area to let and is visited by more than 12 million people per year. Rockcastle has so far acquired six shopping centres in Poland and Forum Liberec’s acquisition marks its expansion to the Czech market. The firm’s strategy is to create a portfolio of retail properties in Poland, Czech Republic and Hungary. The information was provided by the seller’s advisor, Jones Lang LaSalle.
