Contracts for totally 53 direct investments were signed in the Czech Republic in 2014, down 7 on 2014. EY Czech Republic’s managing partner Magdalena Souček has stated that foreign investments resulted into 7,278 jobs last year. Firms from Germany remain the biggest investors in CR. The highest no. of investment projects and job positions was created in automotive industry and subsupplier sector.
