The UPTOWN fund has acquired 68% stake in Czech engineering firm AROJA. AROJA’s executive director Jan Škopík has told ČIANEWS that the acquisition was motivated by the need for capital, the necessity of the implementation of financial management and the connection of the firm to an investor with track record. Mr. Škopík says that AROJA plans to expand to Western European markets in the B2B segment and wants to invest into new production capacities. The firm has ca. 30 employees and plans to recruit staff primarily for development and construction, to facilitate the expansion.
