In 2017 AGC Automotive Czech plans to invest CZK 300m. Two thirds of this total will be invested into the expansion of production capacities. This was stated for ČIANEWS by Engineering and Maintenance manager Jiří Mudra, who added that the company currently has roughly 2,700 employees, 400 of them in THP positions and 2,300 blue-collar workers. In terms of blue-collar positions the market is primarily lacking electricians, electro-technicians and forklift drivers. In the case of THP it is lacking quality controllers, process engineers as well as robotics specialists, optoelectric systems and automated steering specialists.
