On July 21 Czech PM Bohuslav Sobotka (ČSSD) met CEO and founder of Foxconn Technology Group Terry Gou to discuss new investment plans of the company and the cooperation in the development of the Czech technology industry. The joint meeting was attended also by Czech Minister of Industry and Trade Jan Mládek (ČSSD) and CzechInvest General Manager Karel Kučera. The company plans to invest billions of Czech crowns in several segments including the research and design, solutions for automation and digitalisation, infrastructure, and e-commerce. The ministry of industry and trade will discuss the particular shape of investment projects with the company.
