Budějovický Budvar is planning on investment construction for approximately CZK 1.5bn within the Strategy of Development of the Company for the years 2015-2020. The intended projects should enable an increase of production capacity by 20 % by the end of the year 2019. The company is currently beginning the construction of a logistic centre, which is planned to be completed in the year 2018. Economic manager Petr Žáček said that in the year 2015, the performance of the company increased by 5.6 % year on year to CZK 2.47bn. Its profit prior to taxation has increased by 13.8 % to CZK 349.8m. The volume of sold beer has increased to 1.60 million hectolitres (+9.9 %). Local sales have increased by 9 %. Export was 10.5 % higher.
