The Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic has introduced a draft state budget for the year 2017. It copes with a deficit of CZK 48.5bn. The government would like to raise the deficit to CZK 60bn. According to the Chamber of Commerce of the Czech Republic (HKÈR), it was a mistake that the state budget coped with a growth in the number of state officers instead of solving the state debt payment during the economic boom. According to HKÈR, the government is wasting the opportunity to adopt measures leading to the competitiveness of entrepreneurs and the economy. The number of jobs in the state administration will likely grow by 11,846 to 433,120 officers in 2016 instead
