Česká Spořitelna – Penzijní Společnost (ČS PS) had 934,629 clients on September 30, 2016. It lost roughly 56,000 supplementary pension insurance (SPI) contracts and gained 42,000 supplementary pension savings (SPS) contracts. ČS PS manages almost CZK 70bn in client funds. This was stated for ČIANEWS by board of directors chairman Aleš Poklop, who added that more than 152,000 clients how have SPS while more than 775,000 have SPI and 14,000 have pension savings. The average participant contribution in the third pillar is CZK 758. Roughly 16 % of clients get employer contributions, totaling roughly CZK 700 monthly. The innovation of 2016 is the internet portal that lets clients set up savings online.
