Czech utility ČEZ has acquired a minority stake in German firm Sunfire through INVEN CAPITAL. Sunfire is developing and launching into industrial production energy technologies contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions and development of decentralised sources. ČEZ has joined force with EDF and Total venture capital funds and German development bank KfW. ČEZ’s CEO Daniel Beneš has informed that the investment into Sunfire marks continued development of decentralised energetics and renewable resources.
