AGC Automotive Czech will invest approximately EUR 5m in 2016. Almost one third of the sum will be spent on the development of new technologies in the segment of glass encapsulation injection and new bending technologies for hardened side glasses. The information was provided to ČIANEWS in a survey by AGC Glass Europe’s financial controlling and IT manager Pžemysl Jarolímek. The firm will use another third of the resources for the renewal of existing assets, incl. safety and health protection at work and property protection. The last portion will be invested into various projects, incl. the boosting of the plant’s productivity. According to Mr. Jarolíkem, AGC Automotive Czech also plans to hire ca. 100 production operators.
