Vysočina Region Council approved on April 26, 2019, totally 2,050 applications for boiler subsidies worth CZK 230.82m. The regional authority currently registers 2413 submitted applications worth CZK 268m. The regional councillor for environment and agriculture, Zdeněk Chlád (ČSSD), has stated that the projects most frequently involve exchanges of combined coal and biomass boilers – totally 40% of applications.
