One in ten Czech exporters exports to China. Up to 34% of the exporters predict that exports to the Chinese market will grow. Totally 17% of those who are not exporting to China yet plan to do so in the near future. This stems from the survey by the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (AMSP ÈR). The survey has revealed that every fourth Czech importer imports from China. In contrast to export, no major increase in imports is foreseen. The opinion that goods from China do not meet quality requirements full still dominates among companies. The majority of the respondents (60%) views the inflow of Chinese capital to the Czech Republic neutrally. Further 20% are interested in Chinese capital. The remaining 20% view the inflow of Chinese investments as a threat.
