Playwright, director and Former President Václav Havel, who has been ill and out of the public eye, celebrated his 75th birthday with hundreds of friends in Prague. The gathering at an art gallery saw a slew of public figures from former US secretary of state Madeleine Albright to the head of the Czech constitutional court, Pavel Rychetský, whose present was the statue of a Czech king.
