A plan for where dogs would be allowed to exercise off of the leash is a half a year overdue. The ordinance with specific places where dogs could roam free had originally been due last November, and then the date was moved to April. Currently, there are a few places regulated by park ordinances that allow dogs to be off leashes. The rest of the city requires dogs to be on leashes in public at all times.
