Prague, Dec 5 (CTK) – The Czech police in cooperation with Interpol have detained a man suspected of fraud who was hiding abroad, mainly in Thailand, for five years, at the Prague airport these days, Central Bohemia police spokesman Jakub Vincalek told CTK yesterday.
The police suspect the man of having fraudulently gained 30,000 litres of fuel for more than one million crowns.
The man was arrested on November 21.
“He was detained at the Vaclav Havel Airport Prague when he returned to the Czech Republic,” Vincalek said.
A district court remanded the man in custody.
