The leader of the breakaway political faction around Deputy Prime Minister Karolína Peake has announced the party, she and supporters are seeking to create will be baptized — LIDEM or “For the People.” Peake announced the choice — made from 98 options including the winning suggestion from a member of the public on the social network site Facebook — at a news conference on Thursday, adding that it was meant to reflect the party’s place on the political spectrum.
