Zeman was also greeted by war veterans and other guests to the ceremony. They included deputies Jaroslav Foldyna and Jeronym Tejc (CSSD), former interior minister Martin Pecina, CMKOS trade union chairman Josef Stredula and leader of the Citizens Rights Party, senator Jan Veleba.
