Prague, Aug 4 (CTK) – The Czech Athletic Association yesterday nominated the team of 24 athletes, including nine women and 15 men, for the world championship in Beijing on August 22-30.
Nominated athletes:
Men: Pavel Maslak (400 m), Jakub Holusa (1500 m), Petr Svoboda (110 m hurdles), Jaroslav Baba (high jump), Jan Kudlicka, Michal Balner (pole vault), Radek Juska (long jump), Tomas Stanek, Jan Marcell (shot put), Lukas Melich (hammer throw), Jakub Vadlejch, Petr Frydrych, Vitezslav Vesely (all javelin), Adam Sebastian Helcelet (decathlon), Lukas Gdula (50 km walk).
Women: Zuzana Hejnova, Denisa Rosolova (400 m hurdles), Lucie Sekanova (3000 m hurdles), Jirina Ptacnikova (pole vault), Tereza Kralova (hammer-throw), Barbora Spotakova (javelin), Anezka Drahotova, Lucie Pelantova (20 km walk), Eliska Klucinova (heptathlon).
