The weather was finally kind to Prague’s cricketers, providing a weekend of firsts! The PCC 2nd XI won their first ever league game on Sunday with a thrilling win over Barbarians to complete a good weekend for the club, after the first team beat Vinohrady on Saturday in the longer league format. The weekend also saw the debut of the Prague “Over Forties” Cricket Club who played a game against tourists from England, while a team from České Budějovice came to Prague on Sunday for a friendly match – the south Bohemians included two Czech women in their team, giving the pair their first experience of a full match.
