January is often a dark and dreary month, and, while we had a brief respite from the cold last week with a blast of sunshine, chances are it’s back to black ice for at least a few more weeks in Prague. Therefore it’s arguably advisable to spend much of this period in pubs and restaurants, surrounded by friends and raising our glasses to newly made plans for spring. Prague Wine Week, running through Jan. 30, offers a great chance to get out and try some new wines in well-known restaurants — and it doesn’t mean breaking the bank, either.
