Karlovy Vary, West Bohemia, Aug 16 (CTK) – One person was wounded in a street shooting near a Muslim prayer house in Karlovy Vary, West Bohemia, yesterday, but the incident had no religious undertone, regional police spokeswoman Katerina Boehmova has said.
Referring to the initial stage of the investigation, she refused to elaborate.
Karlovy Vary regional hospital spokesman Vladislav Podracky said a man, 42, had been accepted with a leg injury caused by shooting to the hospital.
“His state is stable and his life is not threatened,” Podracky said.
