Mošnov Industrial Zone in Ostrava will gain a new investor. The investment into the Maestoso Advanced Materials plant for the development and production of special materials and alloys will total almost CZK 650m. The facility will have 60 employees. Building work is scheduled to commence in H1 2017 and completion is foreseen for 2018. The representative of the investor, the firm Vítkovice – Výzkum a Vývoj – Technické Aplikace, Jiří Režnar, has stated that the factory will enable the company to expand to the market with materials for aviation, sea and automobile transportation. Virtually all technologies will be fuelled by electricity, alternatively by natural gas. The information was provided by the municipality of Ostrava.
