Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech (HMMC) is preparing fundamental changes to its Hyundai i30, ix20 and ix35 models. The second-generation Hyundai i30, whose production began three years ago at the HMMC plant, will start rolling from the production line on January 15, 2015. The most important change is the installation of a 1.6-litre supercharged petrol-powered engine (186 HP). The production of the facelifted Hyundai ix20 model will begin in May and in the middle of the year a brand new car, the successor of the Hyundai ix35, will begin. It will get to customers at the end of summer.
