Industrial production grew 2.7% y/y in real terms in September 2016. Production adjusted for the no. of working days dropped 1.6% m/m. The value of new contracts gained 2.4%. The y/y growth was driven primarily by the production of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers (contribution of 2.0 p.p., up 10.0%). Biggest decline was registered in mining and excavation (contribution of -0.4 p.p., down 10.5%). This stems from the data from the Czech Statistical Office (ÈSÚ).
