Taiwanese firm HTC is considering building a logistic and servicing centre in the Czech Republic. This stems from the talks held by the Czech parliamentary delegation and HTC’s representatives in Taipei. The information was confirmed to ČIANEWS by the head of the Czech parliamentary team, the deputy chairman of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Petr Gazdík (TOP 09). According to Mr. Gazdík, talks about the location of the building project will be held in the week from February 23, 2015, during the visit of HTC’s vice-president to the Czech Republic. According to Mr. Gazdík, the plant is expected to be built in Moravia and Brno, Olomouc and Ostrava districts are being considering. The facility may offer ca. 1,200 new jobs.
