The volume of mortgage loans provided by UniCredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia in 2014 was roughly CZK 10.5bn and their number totalled 6,700. The average amount of a mortgage loan was approximately CZK 1.6m last year. Within the framework of a ČIANEWS survey, this information was provided by UniCredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia spokesman Petr Plocek who added that the five-year fixed-rate mortgage loans were most popular among clients. Up to three-quarters of new clients apply for them.
