CETIN plans to invest in the coming years into optics and the building of FTTc (Fiber To The Cabinet), which will enable the company to develop its network further and raise the share of households with broadband Internet. CETIN’s CEO Petr Slováèek has stated that the company will offer potential higher Internet speed to 111,000 households in the next six months. For half of the units, the speed will be raised up to 8x to 40 Mbit/s. Additional changes in the fixed network will enable the firm to offer 20 Mbit/s speed to further 430,000 households.
