The Czech National Bank (ČNB) was active on the money market on June 17, 2015. At a ČIANEWS enquiry, this information was provided by spokeswoman Kateřina Bartùšková. According to Patria.cz, the koruna strengthened to CZK 26.99/EUR on July 20, 2015. ČNB Bank Council member Jiří Rusnok said that the bank bodies were allowed to intervene should the koruna strengthen. According to Komerèní Banka analyst Marek Dřímal, however, no trade was closed below the CZK 27/EUR level on the interbank market.
