In 2016 Teaching Hospital (FN) Plzeň plans to invest roughly CZK 700m, CZK 100m of this total will come from subsidies (from the state budget or IROP). Roughly CZK 300m of the total will be spent on equipment. This will primarily involve two projects to modernize and renew the equipment of its gynecologic oncology and perinatal center (CZK 130m). This was stated for ČIANEWS by hospital spokeswoman Gabriela Levorová. Construction projects include the construction of a parking structure at the Lochotín facility for CZK 140m, the reconstruction of the surgery clinic’s ICU (CZK 40m) and catering services (CZK 40m).
