In 2016 Unipetrol plans to invest CZK 12.24bn. According to the company’s annual report, the company will spend CZK 4.54bn on development, CZK 7.34bn on maintenance and reconstruction and CZK 77m on the environment. In 2015 the company invested CZK 3.34bn, with CZK 1.91bn spent on maintenance and reconstruction and CZK 770m on development. Last year Unipetrol launched a project to increase the capacity of its polypropylene unit and the company completed the reconstruction of the international ethylene pipeline.
