EC approves all Czech operational programmes

Brussels/Prague,June 11 (CTK) – A list of 2014-2020 operational programmes for the Czech Republic, the approval of which was symbolically completed in Brussels yesterday, including the ministries that are in charge of the individual programmes and the sums that will be available within each programme from the European Structural and Investment Fund (ESIF), according to the Czech Government Office:
1) OP Enterprises & Innovations for Competitiveness, controlled by Industry and Trade Ministry – 116.1 billion crowns;
2) OP Research & Development & Education, controlled by Education Ministry – 75.6 billion crowns;
3) OP Employment, controlled by Labour and Social Affairs Ministry – 56.7 billion crowns;
4) OP Transport, controlled by Transport Ministry – 126.9 billion crowns;
5) OP Environment, controlled by Environment Ministry – 70.2 billion crowns;
6) Integrated Regional OP, controlled by Regional Development Ministry – 124.2 billion crowns;
7) OP Prague – the Growth Pole of the Czech Republic, controlled by Prague City Hall – 5.4 billion crowns;
8) OP Technical Assistance, controlled by Regional Development Ministry – 5.9 billion crowns;
9) OP Fisheries, controlled by Agriculture Ministry – 0.8 billion crowns;
10) Rural Development Programme, controlled by Agriculture Ministry – 62.1 billion crowns.
In total, about 23.85 billion euros (about 644 billion crowns) is earmarked for the Czech Republic for its national operational programmes from 2014 to 2020. Further 340 million euros (about 9.2 billion crowns) is earmarked for programmes of European territorial cooperation concerning the Czech Republic (cooperation with Austria, Bavaria, Poland, Saxony and Slovakia, transnational and interregional cooperation).
