Prague, March 31 (CTK) – Czechs most trust ANO leader Andrej Babis and Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka, leader of the Social Democrats (CSSD), out of party chairpersons, according to a poll conducted by the CVVM polling institute in early March and released yesterday.
However, the trust in them has fallen as against January.
Czechs have primarily negative views of TOP 09 leader Miroslav Kalousek and leader of the Freedom and Direct Democracy, Tomio Okamura.
The trust in Babis was expressed by 47 percent, in Sobotka by 41 percent of Czechs.
The trust in the former fell by 4 percent and by 5 percent in the latter over the past two months.
The rest of the politicians are trusted by less than 40 percent of Czechs.
“When it comes to the political personalities with a primarily negative poll ratings (mistrust voiced by more than 50 percent of those polled), these are Miroslav Kalousek and Tomio Okamura,” the pollsters said.
However, the trust in Okamura rose by 4 percent to the current 33 percent.
The respondents could evaluate 29 party leaders.
The poll was conducted on a sample of 1,079 Czechs over 15 between March 7 and 14.
