Prague, March 4 (CTK) – The firms from the Agrofert group owned by Czech Finance Minister Andrej Babis (ANO) will be still able to participate in public tenders as the ban on the firms in which a government member owns at least 10 percent taking part in them was rejected in the Chamber of Deputies Friday.
The proposal was submitted by the opposition TOP 09. It was backed by 77 out of the 162 deputies present, while 82 votes were needed.
